Position Objective: |
||
|
Support the implementation of field-based humanitarian activities of Restoring family Links Program across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The position involves conducting field visits, conducting interviews, coordinating with partners, and accurately handling case-management. The role supports quality implementation, reporting, and follow-up in line with organizational standards, policies, and operational priorities, in both routine and emergency contexts. |

Program Background |
||
|
Emergencies including disasters, migration, conflicts and other situations of violence continue to increases risks of family separation, and dispersal of family members, leaving many without information on the safety or whereabouts of their relatives. The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), as part of the global Family Links Network and in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), implements Restoring Family Links (RFL) services in line with Movement standards. These services focus on preventing family separation, restoring and maintaining contact between family members, facilitating family reunification, and supporting efforts to clarify the fate and whereabouts of sought persons. To strengthen program delivery and ensure effective implementation at the provincial level, PRCS seeks to recruit a qualified professional for its Provincial Headquarters in Peshawar. |

Implement, supervise, and adapt RFL program activities in line with approved Log frame (LFM) and operational plans, ensuring quality delivery, integration into emergency responses, adherence to protection standards, and achievement of defined targets through continuous monitoring and corrective action |
||
|
Manage the full lifecycle of RFL casework by screening and registering cases verifying eligibility criteria, processing and maintaining complete case files, entering and updating records in Family Links Answers, coordinating tracing actions with Movement partners, facilitating restoration of contact and family reunification, conducting systematic follow-ups, and ensuring strict compliance with data protection and confidentiality protocols |

Lead RFL emergency interventions by conducting needs assessments, deploying Emergency Rapid Needs Assessments in disasters and conflicts, producing daily operational updates and situational analyses, activating tracing and family contact services, and contributing to emergency planning, response strategies, and operational documentation. |
||
|
Establish, strengthen, and sustain coordination with government authorities, NGOs, INGOs, community leaders, and internal PRCS programs by conducting stakeholder mapping, facilitating coordination meetings, developing referral mechanisms, advocating for humanitarian access, and ensuring continuity of protection and RFL services |
||
|
Strengthen institutional and field-level capacity by designing and delivering trainings, mentoring PRCS staff and volunteers on RFL case management and data protection, providing ongoing technical guidance. |
||
|
Ensure robust information management by maintaining accurate records, producing timely narrative, statistical, and financial reports, analyzing operational data for decision-making, documenting meetings and activities, and securely managing sensitive information in compliance with data protection requirements. |
||
|
Represent PRCS RFL at provincial and with PRCS NHQ RFL team by actively participating in coordination platforms, contributing to strategic discussions and effectively communicating program priorities and operational updates. |
||
|
Lead and supervise provincial RFL Professional Volunteers by assigning responsibilities, setting priorities, monitoring performance, fostering accountability, ensuring effective internal communication, timely reporting and maintaining operational readiness for routine and emergency contexts. |
||
|
Oversee financial and administrative aspects by ensuring activities are implemented within approved budgets, validating expenditures, coordinating with finance and logistics units, and maintaining audit-ready documentation in accordance with PRCS and donor compliance standards. |
||
|
Participating in the RFL coordination and planning meetings and propose changes for improvements if needed |

The above position demands flexibility (frequent trips to the field) and the ability to work under pressure.
