Key Responsibilities:
-
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for projects and operations
-
Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with donor and statutory requirements
-
Manage grants, donor funds, and compliance with financial guidelines
-
Supervise accounting functions, cash flow, and bank reconciliations
-
Strengthen internal controls and financial management systems
-
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of observations
-
Support senior management with financial analysis and decision-making
Required Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
-
Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in UN, NGOs, or donor-funded projects
-
Strong knowledge of donor compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting
-
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP & MIS systems
-
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
-
High level of integrity and attention to detail
