Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P) is looking for a seasoned and dynamic HR Officer to join its team at the Central Office, Rawalpindi. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry for payroll process and coordinating with regional HR teams to ensure  timely and accurate data input for payroll
  • Prepare loan request, Full and Final settlements, leave encashment requests and reimbursements for regional offices and for central office
  • Prepare the promotions, transfers cases and other related tasks including processing of reimbursements
  • Handle employees queries from the regions and central office
  • Maintain and regularly update employees personnel files
  • Liaison with EOBI & Insurance companies for claim processing
  • Prepare regional EOBI & SESSI payments for Central Office
  • Generate monthly Headcount Report
  • Assist in administering performance appraisal process
  • Handle employees, audits, and finance-related queries
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters
  • Enroll new hires in medical and life insurance plans. 
  • Maintain and update employee insurance records in a timely manner. 
  • Process and follow up on staff health claims (OPD and IPD) with the insurance company. 
  • Assist with printing and distributing employee health and insurance cards
  • Process staff PF loans /PF withdrawals and regular loans as per entitlement
  • Perform regular data updates and validation on the HR system 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR/ Finance/Commerce or a relevant discipline (a master’s degree will be preferred).
  • Minimum one (1) year of relevant working experience (experience with a healthcare organization will be an added advantage)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well versed in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) / ERP
  • Knowledge and solid understanding of HR principles, procedures, employment laws and regulatory requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced level skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
