Job Purpose

The Communication Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and managing all communication efforts to support project objectives. This includes stakeholder coordination, developing communication strategies, creating awareness about the project, and ensuring timely and effective dissemination of key information to internal and external audiences. The Coordinator will frequently visit project beneficiaries/ stakeholders to capture best practices, documenting case studies, success stories and challenges encountered while implementing the project interventions.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the focal point for communication between the project team and stakeholders, including government bodies, donors, private sector partners, and community representatives.
  • Ensure consistent and effective messaging to all stakeholders
  • Develop and implement communication plans and strategies to enhance the visibility and impact of project activities.
  • Ensure the project visibility, in district, tehsils and PPs clinic level.
  • Develop social media contents and posts and share it with project stakeholders
  • Facilitate the project team in the development of IEC material, presentations and ensure the standardization of organizational tools and documentation.
  • Meet with project beneficiaries to capture best practices, success stories and challenges encountered while executing the project interventions.
  • Tailor communication approaches to suit diverse stakeholder groups and ensure alignment with project goals
  • Prepare high-quality communication materials such as press releases, newsletters, brochures, and presentations.
  • Support in project outreach through the development and dissemination of key messages to promote awareness and understanding of the project’s objectives and outcomes.
  • Coordinate project-related events such as workshops, seminars, and public awareness campaigns.
  • Develop event communication plans and materials to maximize outreach and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of communication efforts and strategies.
  • Prepare periodic reports on communication activities, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Liaise with media outlets to ensure effective coverage of project events and achievements.
  • Draft press materials and respond to media inquiries in coordination with the project management team.
  • Manage the project's social media platforms and online presence to enhance visibility.
  • Develop engaging digital content and monitor online engagement to inform strategy adjustments.

Skills 

  • Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.

Qualifications: Minimum 16 years of education Bsc./M.Sc./MS/M.Phil. in Mass Comm/PR/Graphic Designing/Social Sciences or equivalent from HEC recognized University
