Job Summary:

We are seeking an erudite and experienced master trainer to conduct two-months advanced level ECD training. The trainer will be responsible for maintaining a conducive learning environment and trained trainees in advanced level ECD themes through modern ECD approaches. The trainer will customize a specifically tailored curriculum for the two months training align with national institute of ECD syllabus. The trainer will conduct 4 hours of class daily in six working days a week to complete the total credit hours. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of ECD approaches, practical activities, training management, trainees’ evaluation and ability to deliver both practical and theoretical components using different teaching techniques as per the ability of trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a lesson plan and conduct an ECD training session and practical demonstration for trainees. 
  • Ensure conducive learning environment and clearly infused the training contents to the trainees.
  • Developed ECD training materials based on the curriculum and advanced ECD approaches.
  • Use different techniques including child psychology and holistic development and play based learning.
  • Assess the trainee’s performance and interest during training sessions and provide necessary feedback and support.
  • Trained the trainees to create a child-friendly environment that supports child psychological, mental and physical well-being.
  • Provide online learning platforms to trainees such as YouTube etc.
  • Facilitate group discussions, activities, and exercises that promote knowledge sharing and critical thinking among trainees.
  • Respond to participant questions, concerns, and provide clarifications on topics covered during the session.
  • Create and distribute presentation materials/handouts, and resources to trainees before and after the session.
  • Collect feedback from participants and incorporate it into the post-session report to further improve the training content.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure that all information shared during the session remains confidential.
  • Develop reports on the completion of each themes/content.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such ECD, Education or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in the ECD, with a focus on modern approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training sessions, workshops, or presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate engaging discussions and interactions among participants.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the advanced level ECD approaches.
  • Ability to adapt content and delivery methods to suit participants with varying levels of expertise.
