The U.S. Mission in Islamabad, Pakistan is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Compound Security System Guard in Regional Security Office.

Basic Function of the Position –The position is responsible to provide security for US Government facilities and employees. Responsible for the collection of accurate surveillance detection. Responsible for reporting information and calling for emergency assistance if necessary. In case of imminent attack, can take action to prevent injury and death to embassy property/personnel. Identifies suspicious activities and possible surveillance operations. Make reports of findings to security personnel. Initiates emergency responses to possible hostile actions as necessary to safeguard life and property. 

Qualification Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:  Minimum Two (2) years of previous experience in compound defense, infantry force protection, command post operations, or surveillance operations from the military, police, or private security operations is required.

EDUCATION: Completion of secondary school (10 years of education) required.

Job Knowledge: Must have knowledge of procedures for conducting and reporting surveillance issues. 

Language:  Good Working Knowledge in Reading/Writing/Speaking of English, fluent in Reading/Writing/Speaking of Urdu and limited in Reading/Writing/Speaking of Punjabi language is required. English language skills may be tested

Skills And Abilities: Must be able to work independently and adapt to changing circumstances without requesting guidance. Be able to maintain composure. Have excellent customer service. Basic Microsoft Word skills are also required. Skills and abilities may be tested.
