Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Project lead in planning, developing, and implementing renewable energy (RE) project activities in line with project goals and objectives
-
Conduct regular field visits to support and supervise activities across project districts (Jamshoro, Thatta, and Sukkur) to provide on-ground support to project activities as required.

Maintain communication and coordination with various stakeholders at the district and provincial level, including district government, RE power producers, government departments, academia, media, civil society organizations, and others.

Assist in liaising with local communities and stakeholders, ensuring effective grassroots engagement in line with project goals. Ensure all feedback from community consultations is documented and reported.

Provide support in developing advocacy campaigns and activities on Just Energy Transition (JET) at the district and provincial level, working closely with the Project lead.

Attend meetings and maintain accurate records of discussions and follow-up actions involving project activities and stakeholder meetings. Assist in preparing minutes and summaries of key engagements.

Support in gathering information and data for the preparation of reports, presentations, or updates for stakeholders’ engagement based on field insights and feedback.

Assist in organizing meetings, training sessions, workshops, and other project-related events at the district level, ensuring smooth operations and follow-through on project activities.

Coordinate and organize project-related meetings, consultations, and/or workshops at district level, ensuring smooth logistical arrangements.

Perform any other tasks as assigned
Experience:
At least 5 years’ field-based work experience in development sector/ work preferable in themes including Climate change, Renewable Energy, and Environment.
Education:
Master’s degree in Social Sciences/ Environment Studies or other relevant subject
Skills & Competencies:

Conceptual understanding of Renewable Energy, Climate Change, Just Energy Transition

Substantial knowledge regarding the program implementation on field level

Well oriented with IT skills including MS office

Can speak local languages including Sindhi and Urdu

Strong communication and representative skills

Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines

Adapt within the working environment and work as part of a team
