The Poverty Graduation of Extremely Poor and Flood-Affected Households (PGEP) is a US$134.2 million project jointly financed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Government of Pakistan (GoP). The four-year project is being implemented under the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety (MoPASS) in 25 of the poorest and flood-affected districts of Pakistan. The project supports the Government’s development priorities under Uraan Pakistan and is aligned with the IsDB Food Response Programme and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on reducing extreme poverty and economic vulnerability, promoting sustainable livelihoods and employment, and strengthening the resilience of poor and vulnerable households to climate-induced shocks.
Job Description
- Support day-to-day HR, administrative, logistics, and office management functions of the PMU in line with PGEP, GoP, and IsDB requirements.
- Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and the HR & Administration Manual, ensuring compliance with applicable PGEP, GoP, and IsDB requirements.
- Assist in staff performance management, including performance documentation, probation reviews, contract extensions, and other personnel-related matters.
- Assist in recruitment, on boarding, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, personnel records, insurance, and staff clearance procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR, administrative, asset, inventory, and office records.
- Coordinate official travel, transportation, accommodation, meetings, workshops, trainings, field visits, and other Programme logistics.
- Support the organization of PMU meetings, workshops, trainings, donor missions, and official events, including related logistical arrangements.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and Experience
- Master’s degree or 16-year education in Management Sciences or related discipline from HEC recognized university.
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in logistics, human resource management and office management with preferably 03 years of experience in livelihood Programmes
- Relevant experience with international organizations and Government departments.
- Certification in HR and Procurement Management will be an added advantage.
